Alt Coffee: Gerry with Noel

this was on july 16 or 19 2001. i have a feeling more the 19th...but hey, that was a while ago....gerry would play guitar on thompkins square park right across the street from alt coffee- a really legendary(at least for me) coffee bar in the lower east side...
noel i met a few times...colourful life, he lead...he liked this picture, gave me $40 to get film so i could follow him around and shoot images, but i never saw him again....

no one knew where he was, not even his friend gerry. or maybe they were just acquaintances...

hope noel is well, after all this time....
